We Are Thankful

How things change in a year....Last Thanksgiving, I was frantically trying to pick out paint colors, car seats, cribs, and wondering how to prepare for a baby in less than 3 months (and its highly likely that I was driving Will a little crazy too!).  This year we have a beautiful 9 month old daughter who has changed our lives forever.  Our entire family has so much to be thankful for this year, but Will and I are especially thankful that God chose us to be Frances' parents and He gave us the opportunity to take a journey into the world of parenthood.
Frances one week before Thanksgiving last year!
We had a fun fun Thanksgiving week!  Frances and I got to spend 5 days in MS with Meme, Sage, Jack, and the girls, and Frances is wiped out from all the excitement.  Grump and Will traveled over for a few days too.  Brooks and Irene are doing very well at home and they are so tiny and perfect.  Anna continues to do well also, and will hopefully join her sisters soon.  Frances really seemed to take notice of the babies- especially when I laid her on the floor near them....I think all these girls are going to have a lot of fun!  Here are some pictures from the week:
Frances is not so stationary anymore- she navigated from her play area to here!

Frances In Action

This post is full of all the fun things Frances has been doing lately.  You may notice a lot of eating....Frances has turned into quite the little piglet and we are really working on her learning to feed herself.

Frances and I are heading back over to Mississippi for the week, and I'm so excited to report that Irene and Brooks are both at home!!!  Little Anna will hopefully be following soon. She is working hard on eating and gaining weight.   Our family has so much to be thankful for as we celebrate Thanksgiving- we have 4 more members of the family than we did last year!

Enjoy.....

Working hard (and having fun) at The Bell Center with Amy.

Learning to crawl with Andrea!
I love riding in the stroller.
Helping Grump decide what to order....the onion rings were tasty!
I am learning to hold my bottle.
Trying to get the puff in my mouth.
My first biscuit....
Loved the biscuit!
First time in the big-girl swing at the park, and I loved it!

Finally!

I finally got my time in with the triplets and they are so wonderful!  I'm going to leave this post with few words because the pictures are the best part.  Anna, Irene, and Brooks are all doing great- they are steadily gaining weight and learning to eat.  Frances didn't get to meet her cousins yet, but she did try out most of their baby equipment over the weekend.  We will head back over next week and maybe one or two of them will be at home by then!  Enjoy the pictures.....

9 months old and.....

Today Frances is a big 9 month old- I can't believe it (I know I say that every month).  Frances gets sweeter every single day and she has really been keeping us laughing lately with her little BIG personality.

I'm 9 months old!
Frances is working really hard on sitting up, and can do it for just a few seconds on her own when she props up on her arms.  This month, Frances started eating things like ritz crackers and graham crackers, and she can even hold it by herself for a bite or two.  Here are a few shots of what this big girl has been up to lately:
Eating!
Entertaining myself during church.
I love playing with a balloon!
Enjoying the nice weather in my swing.

Playing with Lyndy.

So our big excitement this week will be going to visit Sage, Jack, and the triplets on Friday!!!  I'm sure most of you know, but they were born last Tuesday 11/1/11 at 34 weeks and 1 day, and they are 1 week old today!  Unfortunately our plans to go visit last weekend got squashed when I got hit with a nasty stomach bug.  We decided not to go share our germs with them and now I really can't wait to get there.  The girls are all doing exceptionally well so far.

I'll end with a link to our Bell Runner fundraising page.  We have almost reached 50% of our fundraising goal, and we need your support!  Click here to see why Will and I will run 26.2 miles in honor of Frances.
